Sarah Kennedy is a Montreal-based jazz vocalist, bandleader, and songwriter with a voice that is light, smooth, and deeply expressive—and a playful curiosity about the world.

Rooted in jazz and the Great American Songbook, Sarah brings the sophistication of jazz together with the intimacy of folk-pop and the freedom of a songwriter who likes to wander somewhere unexpected.

Her original songs are dreamy, strange, tender, and sometimes funny. They explore the mystery of existence, the psychology of birds, the voice of magic, and other unlikely subjects that somehow become deeply human.

After years of quietly writing and refining her songs, Sarah is finally opening the door and inviting listeners in. Most of this music is still unreleased. Follow along to discover the songs as they emerge.
